1990s
The first canvases — still lifes and studies made in service of learning to see: how a shadow falls, how a petal holds light.
2000s
A widening of subject and scale — landscape, portraiture, the built and the wild — as technique gave way to a personal language.
2010s
Compositions grow bolder and more atmospheric; weather, water and memory become recurring subjects of the work.
2020s
A renewed attention to still life and domestic ritual — copper, cloth, harvest — painted with a quieter, more deliberate hand.

A homecoming, in paint, to the rooms and rituals of childhood — the samovar, the worn tablecloth, a child's first curiosity.
